The extended forecast is currently showing high 70s for the wedding weekend, however it may feel much hotter due to humidity. We’ll be doing our best to keep you all cool and hydrated, but please keep the high temps in mind when it comes to clothing and hydration choices!

Phone Plans + Service

We highly recommend getting an eSIM for your time in Sicily, so that your phone and service will work as it would at home. We signed up with Iliad at the Catania Airport while there this past fall, which worked great. You can also sign up ahead of time on other sites like HolaFly, or Airalo, Nomad, and others.

Laundry + Steaming/Ironing Services

For guests staying at the venue: the venue unfortunately does not provide irons or steamers in every room. They do however offer a complimentary professional service to get your wedding day attire ready. We highly recommend having your wedding day attire ready to hand over to the venue at check-in, and they will take care of all ironing/steaming needs. These will be returned to you no later than 1:30 PM on the wedding day.

For guests staying at La Bibbia: There is a common-use laundry room equipped with an iron and ironing board.

Conveniences

Both La Bibbia and Borgo del Carato are quite remote, so keep this in mind when thinking of modern conveniences that may be needed in a pinch. Please refer to the addresses below to get you to the nearest pharmacies and grocery stores, both of which can be found in Solarino, about a 12 minute drive away.

A reminder that Ubers, Taxis, and Lyfts are not readily available throughout Sicily.
